About Our Craft

Sakura Wagyu Farms’ produces wagyu beef products through two programs – the F1 program and the American Tajima Full-Blood Wagyu program, both of which trace back to world-class Japanese wagyu beef genetics to produce the best-tasting wagyu beef.

Sakura’s core program – F1 – crosses full-blood wagyu with high marbling angus. The American Tajima Full-Blood Wagyu program features Japanese Black Wagyu, the highest marbling of all wagyu breeds.

All of Sakura’s American wagyu beef is raised by family farmers who are certified in animal care, on small farms where cows are fed an expert-formulated vegetarian diet for a minimum of 400 days to promote high-marbling – that’s nearly twice as long as average beef – and trust us, it’s worth the wait.

Our American Tajima Full-Blood Wagyu are fed a proprietary feed ration focused on old-world feeding practices, which includes bourbon distillery grains, vitamins, minerals and probiotics proven to create a marbelicious™ eating experience.
