Sakura Wagyu Farms was recently awarded the following placings in the Percentage Wagyu Division:

 2nd Place Japanese Carcass Camera

  • Japanese Carcass Camera - evaluates rib eye area and shape, quality of marbling and color.

 3rd Place Total Lipid Panel

  • Total Lipid - measures the total intramuscular fat/marbling content. This is the connection between the amount of marbling and eating experience, which is proven to be very positive! - more marbling better eating experience


5th Place Taste Panel
  • Taste Panel - tested by trained panel of experts for flavor and intensity of flavor.
