Emily Reer Bio

Emily Reer is an Account Manager for Sakura. Emily works closely with customers, maintaining relationships and providing daily customer service to those customers. She also assists with our online store and collaborates with various team projects and growing company sales.

Emily graduated from The Ohio State University, receiving her bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Business and applied economics with a dual minor in Meat Science and Animal Science. While at Ohio State, she participated in the Meat Judging Team, where she learned about carcass breakdown, quality, and product specifications. Agriculture and meat science have been her passions and are tied back to her roots of growing up on her family farm, where they harvest and process their livestock.

Emily enjoys networking and meeting people who share her passion for the industry and great beef! She loves working with a wide range of customers and seeing how they utilize our Sakura Wagyu products in creative and nuanced ways.

Outside of work, Emily enjoys working on her family farm in Northwest Ohio, 5R Farms, where they raise grain, freezer beef, and pork. She serves on the Senior Fair board at her local county fair and also volunteers to judge carcass shows and goat shows, where she gets to share her passion with youth. For fun, Emily enjoys the outdoors and hiking in her spare time.
