Third generation farmer Beth Fox has a passion for the industry, her farm, and her livestock.

Third generation farmer Beth Fox owns and operates her 60-acre farm in Navarre, Ohio. Beth got her start in farming from the young age of ten, helping her father on their dairy farm milking cows three times a day, rain or shine. In 2019, Beth joined the Sakura team as her farm made the switch from dairy cattle to beef cattle.

Beth prioritizes stainability and holistic management on her farm. In other words, Beth explains, “Everything is homegrown here, starting from the feed”. All crops raised on the Fox farm are utilized in either feed or bedding for the cattle. Furthermore, manure from the cattle is also utilized and applied on their fields to put back nutrients into the soil. Beth also makes it a priority to keep her cattle pens, feeders, and water troughs clean. She explains how this is a preventive measure in keeping her cattle happy, healthy and stress-free.

Beth’s passion for her farm and agriculture is unparalleled. “I’ve been raised up farming, it’s hard work, and it’s not for everyone. Do something that makes you happy. If it doesn’t make you happy, then you won’t last very long. But I love what I’m doing” said Beth.

Beth wants her consumers to know that her cattle receive the best care she can give them, she explains, “they are comfortable, they have plenty of feed and water, and they never put in stressful situations”.
